The Fortress Europe is expanding and the EU is increasingly working together with its neighboring countries, so that the latter are more and more taking over the defense against migrants. Who nevertheless gets through has to expect that he or she is deported under inhumane circumstances. Within the Union too exclusion is gaining ground, in order to shut off certain segments of the population from public life. Moreover, so called gated communities have emerged, which are to give their residents the feeling of total security.
